His work focuses on the impact of climate change on agriculture, particularly in promoting climate-smart practices to improve the livelihoods of smallholder farmers in Nigeria. He leads a group called "Greener Tomorrow," where he provides guidance on sustainable farming techniques and digital climate advisory services. Uchi’s passion for agriculture is showcased through his video with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), "Stories from Local Heroes: Regenerative Agriculture and Food Security in Nigeria," which has attracted over 1,000 viewers. His commitment to climate resilience and sustainable agriculture has led him to international events such as the "Sharing Best Practices in Sustainable Coastal Management" workshop in Bologna, Italy, organized by the Decade Collaborative Centre for Coastal Resilience. He also attended the Africa Climate Resilient Investment Facility training in Dakar, Senegal, and participated in the Biennial Africa Climate-Smart Agriculture Stakeholders Conference in Accra, Ghana sponsored by the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA). Uchi also contributed to women and youth empowerment in agriculture through his participation in the Capacity Building Program at the Songhai Centre, in Benin Republic sponsored by the African Institute for Economic Development and Planning. Uchi Dominic is a member of the United Nations Ocean Decade Actions that had been endorsed of Gamifying Tools to Increase Coastal Resilience with the Unique ID of 38.4. Uchi is a member of coastpredict United Nations endorsed Decade Actions Observing and Predicting the Global Coastal Ocean lead by Euro-Mediterranean Centre on Climate Change (CMCC) and Decade Collaborative Centre for Coastal Resilience where he has proposed a pilot project in Gulf of Guinea in Lagos, Nigeria.
